Vintage Europa Folding Travel Alarm Clock In Tan Brown

This is a nice, working, mechanical Vintage Europa Folding Travel Alarm Clock In Tan Brown. Its hard surfaces are covered on both the top and base with tan brown leatherette.

Approximate Size when folded:
Case Width, Height, Depth (WHD): 7.5cm x 7.5cm x 3cm 

The clock has brass effect surrounds with brass accents, black hands and black numerals. Both the clock and alarm are in fairly good working order. It is easily read from a distance and in the dark, as its hands are luminous. 

The hard leather covered casing is in good vintage condition. The clock itself has marks and blemishes commensurate with age and use:

• The brass is slightly discoloured/pitted with surface blemishes, particularly around the face casing and edges of the case.
• There are scuffs on the rear of the case close to the winding mechanism.
  
• There is a crack in the glass on the bottom left hand side and slight scuffing.
• The clock is slightly skewed when displayed.

The 2 jewel clock dates to about the 1970s, and was manufactured by Uhrenfabrik Senden GmbH, in Bavaria, West Germany, whom used the tradename 'Europa.' It would probably require a CLA (clean, lube and adjust) service to guarantee accurate time keeping. 

I have timed the clock over a 24-hour period and it kept reasonable time (-30 seconds).

All in all a useable, but well-loved, little travel alarm clock.
